Lady-in-Waiting
Lady-in-Waiting is a commissioned life portrait of a young woman at 6 months pregnant, begun late August 2009, completed January 2010. I hope the sculpture conveys her absolute joy with pregnancy and her eager anticipation of her child - it's as if she is cradling her infant. The piece is 1/4 life-size - 17 inches tall.
An edition of 12 bronzes will be made.
